Kodesage raises £610k for legacy software renewal platform

Enterprises and engineering teams seeking to manage complex legacy code architectures are the target market for Kodesage Ltd, which has recently secured an estimated £610.1k in seed funding. Based in London, the organization provides an AI-powered platform to assist with the renovation of outdated IT infrastructure.

Incorporated in 2024, the startup offers automated documentation and simplified onboarding to streamline the modernization process. These solutions are designed to be compliance-friendly, catering specifically to companies operating within governed industries. The firm operates in the business and domestic software development sector and saw its first accounting period end on 31 December of its founding year.

This latest investment contributes to a total of £4.7m raised by the venture throughout 2026. Adam Hewitson joined the board of directors in June. Formal papers for the transaction were filed in September. This followed a share allotment that occurred in July.
