Codewall secures £3m seed round for AI offensive security platform
Published
Codewall Ltd has secured an estimated £3m in seed funding to expand its AI-driven penetration testing platform. Based in London, the company reached an estimated post-money valuation of £7.5m following the investment. Its technology autonomously maps attack surfaces and chains real exploits to deliver verified proof-of-concept vulnerabilities for security teams.
Incorporated in March, the startup operates within the business and domestic software development sector and aims to automate offensive security by deploying hacking agents that adapt to evolving threat landscapes. These agents are designed to think and chain weaknesses together across an entire software stack at machine speed, moving beyond the capabilities of traditional vulnerability scanners. The company currently operates with a team of three employees.
The recent capital injection follows the allotment of shares in August, with formal documentation filed in September. CodeWall positions its software as a tool for technical departments needing continuous testing rather than point-in-time assessments. The mission of the firm, which operates the website codewall.ai, is to build the future of cyber security through the development of AI super hackers.
