Bristol fintech Kinvault secures funding for estate management platform

Published

An estimated post-money valuation of £4.4m has been reached by Kinvault Ltd following a new investment of £234.3k. The Bristol-based company operates a SaaS platform that allows families and financial institutions to securely store and share financial information with independent advisors, including financial advisers, solicitors, accountants, and benefit providers.

The software addresses challenges surrounding bereavement and estate handovers, helping banks navigate administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with FCA Consumer Duty requirements. By digitising the flow of life and estate data, the tool aims to increase assets under management (AUM) retention, assist with client acquisition, and reduce costs for financial firms. These functions are designed to improve financial resilience and wealth transfer for vulnerable individuals and the next generation.

Founded in February 2025, the business currently employs nine people and has filed accounts for the period ending 31 December 2025. This round follows earlier activity, with the firm raising a total of £636.6k throughout 2026 and £179.5k during its inaugural year. Documentation for this specific allotment was filed in August (with shares allotted in July).
