Tumelo secures £9m Series A for investment stewardship tech

Platforms that enable fund managers, institutional investors, and pension providers to manage proxy voting are the core focus of Bristol-based Tumelo Limited, which has just secured an estimated £9m in a Series A funding round. The company develops technology-led software to generate stewardship reports and provide insights into the specific companies in which a user's money is invested. Its product lineup includes ProxySphere, ProxyBeacon, and Expression of Wish.

Incorporated in 2017, the firm addresses a lack of transparency and engagement between retail investors and their portfolios. This latest investment brings the total funding raised in 2026 to £9.1m. This follows a significantly smaller intake of £10.9k recorded during the 2025 calendar year.

The company reported a headcount of 39 people according to its latest accounts for the year ending 31 December 2024. Formal documentation for this allotment was filed in August (2026).
