Renewable energy developer Ion Ventures Holdings Ltd has secured £642.8k in a new funding round. Operating from London, the company builds and manages assets including large-scale storage systems and EV charging infrastructure to support grid stability.

Established in 2018, the firm targets markets in the UK, Europe, South Asia, and Southeast Asia to facilitate the move away from fossil fuels. Its technical solutions focus on distribution utilities, grid architecture, and island micro-grids. The company currently lists 28 employees on its LinkedIn profile.

The recent capital injection follows a significantly larger funding year in 2025, when the business raised £5m. Financial records for the period ending 31 December 2024 serve as the most recent accounts for the entity.

James Daniel Woods joined the board as a director in May. Information from LinkedIn suggests Woods may be an investor specializing in energy transition within the private equity and infrastructure sectors. Documentation for the allotment was filed in June 2026.
