Peterlee software firm Easology secures £160k for accessible mobile interfaces

A funding round of £160.1k has been completed by Easology Limited, a software developer based in Peterlee. The company specializes in creating easy-to-use interfaces for smartphones and tablets, aiming to make mobile technology more accessible for older adults. These tools are specifically designed for individuals facing dexterity, eyesight, or cognitive challenges. This latest investment brings the estimated post-money valuation of the business to £4.1m.

Incorporated in 2008, the firm operates within the telecommunications sector. It collaborates with major industry partners such as Samsung, EE, and Currys to provide simplified mobile experiences and intuitive software. According to its latest accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025, the company maintained a team of five employees.

This capital injection follows a total of £170k raised during 2025. Formal documentation for the current allotment was filed during June 2026.
