Chest Group Limited secures £120k for its retirement savings platform

An estimated £120k has been raised by Chest Group Limited to support the development of its retirement savings platform, called Chest. The company, which was incorporated in 2024, is building a mobile app designed to turn everyday habits into long-term investments for individuals who find traditional financial systems complex.
Based in London, the startup is creating features such as a Chest Score to track progress, cashback on daily spending, and tools for consolidating existing pension pots. It also allows users to set aside spare change through automated rules and provides educational content. This latest capital injection brings the business to an estimated post-money valuation of £3.5m.
Total funding raised in 2026 now stands at £255k, following £350k raised during 2025. Financial records for the year ending 31 August 2025 reported a headcount of two staff members, while current LinkedIn data indicates the team has grown to five employees. Documentation for this allotment was filed in September 2026.
