ChamberTech secures £55.5k for hybrid AFib ablation technology

Published

A hybrid atrial-fibrillation (AFib) ablation system designed to combine surgical outcomes with catheter safety is being developed by ChamberTech, which recently secured £55.5k in new funding. Based in Richmond, the company provides its solution to clinicians and hospitals seeking less invasive therapies for patients with persistent AFib.

The startup was incorporated in 2022 by a team of industry experts to address the cardiovascular medical market. While accounts for the year ended 31 January 2025 listed a single employee, current figures from LinkedIn indicate the workforce has grown to five staff members. This latest investment follows a total of £454.6k raised throughout 2025.

ChamberTech has previously been awarded a £1.5m Biomedical Catalyst grant from Innovate UK. Other historical venture backers include Oxford Technology Management and various high-net-worth individuals. Formal documentation for this capital injection was filed in June 2026.
