Caretrust UK raises £9.8m for healthcare real estate expansion

Real estate investment trust Caretrust UK Limited has secured £9.8m in its latest funding round, bringing its total capital raised during 2026 to £38.7m. Incorporated in 2016, the London-based firm acquires, owns, leases, renovates, extends, and redevelops healthcare real estate assets, primarily residential care homes.

The company leases these properties to operators providing residential healthcare services across the United Kingdom under long-term agreements. The business was previously known as Impact Healthcare REIT PLC and has also operated under the name Care REIT PLC.

This latest injection of capital results in an estimated post-money valuation of £1,926,812b. Both the allotment and formal filing for the round occurred in September.
