TechMet Limited triples stake in Brazilian Nickel as Resource Capital Fund exits

TechMet Limited has increased its shareholding in Brazilian Nickel Limited by 310 percent, growing its position from 98,195,639 to 403,074,987 ordinary shares. The investor, which is also a shareholder in Cornish Lithium PLC, now holds the largest disclosed position in the company. This change occurred alongside the exit of Resource Capital Fund VII L.P, which previously held 14,334,985 ordinary shares.

Based in London and founded in 2013, Brazilian Nickel Limited provides nickel and cobalt mining services. It specializes in extracting high purity products from lateritic ores using sustainable heap leach technology for the electric vehicle battery, sustainable energy, and aerospace industries.

The latest confirmation statement (covering the period to 2 May 2026) shows several existing investors remain on the cap table. These include Yellowcreek Investments Limited with 9,389,967 shares, Harpia Harpyja Capital Ltd with 6,397,033 shares, and APG Aus No 10 Pty Ltd with 3,909,216 shares. Other shareholders include The Bartlett Family Company LLC with 2,338,051 shares and Link Resources HK Limited with 832,386 shares. Monazita Resources Limited also departed the cap table during this period. The scale of the increase in TechMet Limited's holding follows the departure of two other entities from the cap table.
