Bit Warmer secures £226.5k to scale waste heat recovery technology

Capturing and reusing waste heat generated by computing equipment is the core focus of Godalming-based Bit Warmer Limited. The company recently secured £226.5k in new funding, resulting in an estimated post-money valuation of £4.1m. These distributed data-centre solutions target operators and industries seeking sustainable heat sources through specific projects such as a Sustainable Render Hub.

Founded in 2017, the business also manages research and development initiatives titled Harnessing heat from compute and Distributed Data Centres. This latest investment (allotted and filed in June 2026) adds to the £474.8k raised during the 2025 calendar year. Financial accounts were most recently filed for the period ending 31 December 2025.
