Agulhas Gear Holdings reaches £1.7m valuation following new funding

A new investment of £315.8k has been secured by Agulhas Gear Holdings Limited. This funding round values the Weybridge-based company at an estimated £1.7m.

The firm focuses on the development and licensing of intellectual property within the natural sciences and engineering sectors, often operating through its AGULHAS Gear IP Limited arm. Founded in 2021, it provides research-driven technology solutions to other businesses, alongside leasing arrangements for organisations that require specialised assets for their commercial operations.

This 2026 capital injection (filed in September following an August allotment) represents the only funding recorded for the business this year. According to the company's latest financial filings, its most recent accounts were made up to 31 December 2024.
