Legal talent attraction and compliance firm Zest Recruitment And Legal Consultancy Limited has raised £680k in a new funding round. The investment gives the Caerphilly-based company an estimated post-money valuation of £1.7m.

Founded in 2017, the business provides executive search for legal professionals and offers compliance and risk management support to law firms. Zest Recruitment And Legal Consultancy addresses the difficulty law firms face in connecting with top-tier talent while managing regulatory obligations. Its service suite includes Alternative Business Structure (ABS) applications, specialist audit services, and litigation funder audits. The firm also provides operational and strategic consultancy, such as LEXCEL accredited audit services and gap analysis.

Financial records for the year ended 30 November 2024 show the company employed six people. Current LinkedIn data lists a headcount of five employees. The firm operates with a team of legal, operational, and compliance professionals to support in-house teams and Compliance Officers for Legal Practice (COLPs). It also offers a bi-lingual service in Welsh.

The £680k round (allotted in May 2026) follows the company's established presence in the legal recruitment and consultancy market.
