Identity verification startup Voxmind Ltd has secured an estimated £552k in new funding to expand its voice biometrics technology. The London-based company develops an AI-powered authentication system designed to provide secure identity verification through language-agnostic and text-independent voice analysis.

Incorporated in 2024, Voxmind addresses the growing threat of fraud and AI-cloned voices. Its platform uses vocal characteristics to verify identities and includes deepfake detection and human liveliness verification. The technology is built for integration into contact centers, financial services, telecommunications, and IoT applications via scalable API and SDK options. The system supports gPRC and SIP/SIPREC protocols for real-time integration.

The recent funding round reached an estimated £552k (with documentation filed in April). This capital injection follows the company's initial development phase since its founding two years ago. Voxmind currently operates with a team of six employees.

The company focuses on providing an alternative to traditional security methods by using voice as a natural key for digital access. Its specialties include phonetics, fraud prevention, and identity and access management. The platform is designed to help businesses safeguard digital assets and build customer trust by reducing the friction associated with standard verification processes.

Financial metrics such as annual revenue, total assets, and profit or loss figures were not included in the recent filings. The company remains headquartered in London and continues to market its services to businesses looking to enhance security protocols across various digital applications.
