Voxann Ltd is building a localisation production platform designed to automate the creation of multilingual content for film, television, video games, and e-learning. The Manchester-based company recently secured an estimated £212.4k in new funding, bringing its estimated post-money valuation to £2.8m.

Founded in 2023, the startup develops AI-powered tools that manage translation, dubbing, captioning, and quality assurance. The software aims to bridge the gap between written text and spoken word by providing translation agencies and voiceover studios with granular control over assets across multiple languages. Users can synchronise and amend scripts, generate performance directives, and manage culturally relevant translations within a single project.

The company currently operates with a team of five employees according to its digital profile, while its latest accounts recorded a headcount of four. Voxann focuses on the language technology sector, specifically targeting software development for the media industry.

This latest capital injection follows an allotment of shares in March (with formal documentation filed in April). The funding supports the continued development of tools that allow language professionals to achieve synchronicity between languages at scale.

Voxann positions its technology as a fusion of human expertise and AI, designed to streamline production processes and reduce the time required for complex localisation projects. The platform is built to handle the specific requirements of inclusive, multilingual content delivery across various digital media formats.

The company is headquartered in Manchester and specialises in Lang-Tech. Its tools are intended to empower multilingual voiceover studios to achieve higher accuracy in their delivery while maintaining control over project assets. This includes managing the workflow for various media types to ensure accessibility for global audiences.
