Unmortgage secures £910.8k Series B for gradual homeownership platform

Unmortgage Ltd provides a gradual homeownership platform that enables individuals with a small deposit to purchase a home in partnership with institutional investors. Based in London, the service targets aspiring homeowners who cannot secure a traditional mortgage, allowing them to live in the property while paying rent on the equity they do not yet own.

The company, which operates in business and domestic software development, has raised an estimated £910.8k in a Series B funding round. This brings the total capital raised during 2026 to £1.3m. In the previous calendar year, the firm secured a total of £214.3k.

Incorporated in 2016, the business is headquartered at Second Home on Hanbury Street. Accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025 report that the company employed 19 people. Documentation for the investment was filed in June, following an allotment of shares in May.
