Conductive nanomaterials that serve as alternatives to copper in electrical wiring are being developed by Bridgend-based Trimtabs Ltd. The company utilizes waste plastics to create carbon nanotubes for industrial clients seeking sustainable, low-cost sources. An estimated £2m has been raised in this latest round, resulting in a post-money valuation of £20m.

The business was incorporated in 2019 and operates within the chemical manufacturing sector, focusing on research and experimental development. This capital injection follows a 2025 funding total of £4.2m. Documentation for the current round was filed in September, following an allotment in August.

Latest accounts for the year ending 31 May reported a £473.5k loss. While those filings recorded four employees, current headcount on LinkedIn has reached 18 people. The company operates the website TrimTabs.Co.
