An estimated £2.6m has been raised by Tidalsense Limited in its latest funding round to support the development of AI-driven monitoring solutions for conditions like COPD and asthma. The Cambridge-based, venture-backed respiratory technology firm was founded in 2013 and previously operated under the name Cambridge Respiratory Innovations.

Financial records for the year ended 31 December 2024 show the company recorded a £1.5m loss. While those accounts noted a team of 20, current LinkedIn data indicates the headcount has since grown to 31 employees. This new capital brings the total funding raised during 2026 to £2.7m, following a total of £7.5m raised throughout 2025.

The company utilizes patented sensor technology to provide fast, point-of-care diagnostics through products such as N-Tidal Diagnose and N-Tidal Capture, which measure high-accuracy, rapidly sampled CO2 to analyze lung physiology for healthcare providers, patients, and pharmaceutical firms. Recent corporate filings show the appointment of Donna Margaret Parr as a director (June 2026). LinkedIn profiles suggest she may be a Managing Partner at Cross-Border Impact Ventures.
