An estimated £34.6m has been raised by Thorpe Marsh Holdings Limited in its latest funding round. This investment brings the London-based company to an estimated post-money valuation of £276.5m. The business functions as a holding company for the Thorpe Marsh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, which serves as a vehicle for energy infrastructure development.

This project focuses on storing and releasing renewable electricity to the UK national grid, providing power to both residential homes and commercial businesses. Incorporated in 2023, the entity manages the assets necessary to balance energy supply and demand.

This latest capital injection follows a significant period of fundraising activity. In 2025, the company raised a total of £262.9m. Total funding for the current 2026 year has reached £37.1m, a figure that includes the most recent investment.

The company's latest accounts were made up to the year ended 31 December 2025. This funding follows formal documentation filed in September 2026 (with an allotment date in the same month).
