An estimated £25m has been raised by This Way Up Studios Ltd to support its interactive entertainment software development. This investment values the Penryn-based company at a post-money valuation of approximately £40m.

Incorporated in September 2025, the studio specializes in the design and programming of ready-made interactive leisure and entertainment software. Its current project, Tabula, is listed on the Steam platform. The company operates with a team of five employees according to its LinkedIn profile.

The funding follows an allotment of shares completed in April (with documentation filed in May). This capital injection occurs within the first year of the company's operations.

While the studio has not disclosed specific revenue or profit and loss metrics, the £25m round represents its primary source of external capital to date. The business focuses on the creation of computer games, providing end-to-end programming services for the leisure market.

This Way Up Studios is located in Penryn and is registered under company number 16720999. The studio's work involves the development of software products intended for the global gaming market.
