Automating the multidisciplinary workflow of transactional due diligence is the focus of London-based software developer Thesiad Limited. Founded in June 2025, the company targets venture capital firms, private equity groups, law firms, and angel investors. Its platform, Thesiad AI, aims to replace manual data room reviews by pulling public data and building searchable virtual data rooms that categorize documents across 14 languages.

The company recently secured an estimated £35k in fresh funding (August allotment). This latest injection brings the total raised in 2026 to £183.6k, following £27.7k raised during its first year of operation. The current round carries an estimated post-money valuation of £2.1m.

Thesiad currently employs six people. The platform was developed by a team of UK lawyers and investment principals to address the issue of deals stalling during lengthy manual data room reviews, where an estimated 30% of hours are spent on tasks that can be automated. It extracts key terms and surfaces risks while visualizing financial and commercial insights to minimize abort costs. Steven Mark Peskin was appointed as a director in July.
