An estimated £400k has been raised by London-based video game developer Terra Tek Studios Limited, which trades as Payload Studios. The company filed the allotment of shares on May 5, 2026, with the transaction finalized on the same date.

Payload Studios was incorporated on November 28, 2013. The studio develops and publishes computer games for individual end users, focusing on the open-world construction sandbox genre. Its primary products include the original title TerraTech and its follow-up, TerraTech Worlds. These games allow players to design and build vehicles and structures using a modular block system.

The company currently operates with a team of 39 employees. This new capital injection follows two small funding rounds completed shortly after the company's inception in late 2013. On December 19, 2013, the business raised £18k at a valuation of £210k, alongside a separate £12k investment at a valuation of £60k.

The £400k round is the first funding activity recorded for the company since those initial seed rounds over a decade ago. The studio is headquartered in London and continues to manage both development and publishing for its titles. The company maintains control over the distribution of its sandbox titles to individual end users.
