Plymouth-based Talamo secures £50k for neurodiversity screening platform

Automated digital screening for dyslexia, maths, and executive functioning for 7-16-year-olds is the focus of Talamo Limited, which has just raised £50k. This investment values the Plymouth-based company, incorporated in 2021, at an estimated £2.5m post-money. The platform serves a target market comprising UK schools, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), teachers, parents, and families.

By providing actionable insights, the technology aims to facilitate the early identification of specific learning needs. According to accounts for the year ended 30 November 2024, the firm employed three people.

Other funding activity for the company includes a £25k round in March and £155k in November 2025. Earlier history contains £320k in December 2024, £150k in February 2023, and £110k in September 2023, alongside two separate £100k rounds in April 2025 and October 2022. Documentation for the current allotment (dated June 2025) was filed in June 2026.
