Published
Sustainability consultancy Switch2zero Ltd has reached an estimated valuation of £8.4m following a £2.2m funding round. Based in London, the company provides a platform for individuals and small to medium-sized enterprises to measure carbon footprints and implement reduction strategies. The business was incorporated in 2021 to help companies track progress toward net-zero emissions through accessible tools and services.
The company addresses the difficulty small businesses face in accessing affordable sustainability solutions and measuring their environmental impact. Its platform functions as a marketplace and advisory hub where users can access carbon reduction options, tree planting initiatives, and plastic removal programs. Switch2zero focuses on making environmental responsibility affordable for smaller firms, offering guidance on how to turn sustainability efforts into commercial growth. Users can source news, find suppliers, and manage their environmental impact through a centralized dashboard.
This £2.2m investment follows several smaller funding injections over the past three years. In May 2024, the company completed three separate allotments totaling £190k at valuations between £3.4m and £3.6m. Earlier rounds include a £100k raise in December 2023 at a £3.3m valuation and a £50k raise in June 2023 at a £3.8m valuation. The current round was documented in filings during April 2026, following an allotment in March 2026.
Financial records for the year ended 30 November 2024 show the company has 10 employees. LinkedIn data lists a headcount of 7 staff members. The business operates as a one-stop shop for carbon offsetting and green initiatives, aiming to simplify the net-zero journey for its users.
