Managing field-based staff is the core focus of Sense Workplace Limited. The Epworth-based company has secured an estimated £1.5m in its latest funding round, which places the business at an estimated post-money valuation of £6m.

Founded by technology experts and incorporated in 2023, the startup addresses operational challenges for small- to mid-sized organisations employing between 5 and 500 people. Its workforce management platform combines wearable hardware and sensors with software to automate HR processes and track time-and-attendance through Real-Time Location System (RTLS) capabilities. The technology provides real-time indoor and outdoor location data and is designed for diverse teams, including seasonal and zero-hour contract workers in healthcare, hospitality, and facilities management.

This most recent injection matches the £1.5m total raised by the firm during 2025. Financial records for the year ended 30 June of that year showed a headcount of 27 people, though more recent data from LinkedIn indicates the workforce has grown to 53 workers. The round was documented in filings during June following an allotment of shares in May.
