Scene Group secures £250k for Cavalry animation software

Cavalry, a 2D animation software platform, is the flagship product of Scene Group Limited. The Worthing-based company recently secured an estimated £250k in new funding, resulting in a post-money valuation of £15.6m.

Founded in 2019, the business develops tools for real-time design across advertising, mobile, data visualization, and gaming. Its software is also utilized for web, broadcast, UI, generative art, and experiential projects. Beyond its core animation product, the company's activities include other software publishing alongside business and domestic software development.

Financial records for the year ended 30 June 2025 show the company employed three people. The investment follows the appointment of two new directors in February, Todd Christopher Carpenter and Duncan Antony Ernest Clark. Formal documentation for the share allotment was filed in June (allotment date April 2026).
