A new funding round has seen retail technology startup Micromkt Limited raise £895.2k at an estimated post-money valuation of £2m. Incorporated in Cirencester and founded in 2016, the business provides a modular software platform for the non-profit sector.
The EPOS component of the system runs on tablets and includes offline functionality to capture sales without an internet connection. Micromkt also offers a logistics tool for fleet management and digital diaries, allowing store teams to schedule collections and deliveries in real-time with turn-by-turn navigation for van crews.
A third module focuses on digital Gift Aid sign-ups, automating donor correspondence and storing data in a secure, compliant manner to reduce the workload for volunteers. According to its LinkedIn profile, the company maintains its headquarters in Cheltenham.
Financial records for the year ended 31 December 2024 show the firm employed five people. This latest capital injection represents the total funding raised by the business during 2026. Documentation for the share allotment and the associated filing were processed in June.
