Satorus Group secures £373k for AI intelligence platform Sidney

Sidney, an agentic AI platform developed by Satorus Group, automates open-source intelligence by gathering and analyzing data from the surface, deep, and dark web. The company, which is based in London, recently secured an estimated £373k in funding to assist governments and businesses in combating disinformation and cyber threats.

Founded in May 2025 by specialists in geopolitical analysis and risk management, the firm addresses the need for precise analysis in unstable environments. The system plans investigations, verifies sources, and synthesizes results into intelligence reports that match a client's specific house style. These outputs are designed as living products that users can query repeatedly rather than static documents.

This latest investment follows an allotment of shares in March 2026, with formal documentation filed the following month. Satorus Group currently employs 11 people. The founders have experience operating in high-pressure environments within the security and finance sectors.
