Rowden Technologies Ltd. secures £25m Series A for edge environment systems

Rowden Technologies Ltd. designs, builds, and deploys advanced sensing, communications, and information systems for edge environments. Based in Bristol, the firm recently secured an estimated £25m in Series A funding. Its focus is on providing solutions for government agencies, first responders, and national security and resilience organizations. These technologies are tailored for use in demanding, critical, or remote settings where connectivity is constrained.

Incorporated in 2016, the company has a workforce of 88 employees. Financial results for the year ended 31 December 2024 show the business generated £24m in revenue, resulting in a £3m profit.

The capital injection was formalised with a filing in June, following a share allotment in May. Alexander Miles Barrington and Holloway Joseph Charles were also appointed as directors during that same month.
