Refsix secures £275k to expand referee performance tracking app
Published
Refsix Ltd provides a smartwatch-compatible mobile application designed for football and soccer referees to manage match incidents and track performance metrics. Based in Worthing, the company has secured an estimated £275.9k in its latest funding round. This investment brings the business to an estimated post-money valuation of £3.7m.
Founded in 2016, the business addresses the need for digital record-keeping and physical performance monitoring on the pitch. The app captures data such as distance covered and positioning, while also managing multiple game timers for officials. The service is marketed globally to individual referees and referee associations.
According to its latest accounts for the year ended 31 October 2025, the firm employed five people, though LinkedIn data indicates a current headcount of eight. This 2026 capital injection follows the company's established presence in the spectator sports industry. Documentation for the round was filed in September (with an allotment date in April).
