R.J. O'Brien (Europe) secures £12.6m for derivatives clearing and execution services

A capital injection of £12.6m has been secured by R.J. O'Brien (Europe) Limited. Based in London, the company provides clearing and settlement services alongside direct market access for exchange-listed financial and commodity derivatives. The business, which was incorporated in 2010, also offers risk management and execution-only services.

The new funding brings the company to an estimated post-money valuation of £34.2m. This year's investment follows £4.5m raised throughout 2025. In addition to electronic execution, the firm provides full-service and voice brokerage options to institutional clients, professional traders, and eligible counterparties.

Recent governance changes include the appointment of Gemma Louise Lloyd to the board of directors (July 2026). Adam Paul Solomons was also appointed as a director (August 2026). The formal documentation for the share allotment was filed in September 2026, with the allotment itself occurring earlier that same month.
