Published
Autonomous optimisation software for CNC machining developed by Productive Machines Ltd has been backed by an estimated £1.3m in new funding. Based in Rotherham, the company provides digital-twin simulation and tool-path optimisation through its SenseNC suite to boost productivity, shorten cycle times, and reduce tooling costs. These solutions are aimed at machine shops and manufacturers that perform metal-cutting operations.
The business was incorporated in 2019. This investment represents the total capital raised by the firm during 2026.
Financial records for the year ended 31 December 2025 show that the company employed 12 people. Formal documentation for the share allotment was filed in September, following the initial transaction in May.
