Voice-first AI agent developer PolyAI Limited has raised an estimated £15.1m in a Series C-plus funding round. Based in London, the company provides a platform for enterprise customer service that automates inbound call handling through conversational AI. The technology is designed to provide human-like interactions for large organizations managing high call volumes.
PolyAI targets enterprises across several sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, retail, and hospitality. Since its incorporation in 2017, the company has focused on solving the problem of complex customer service automation. Financial records for the year ending 31 January 2025 show the company generated £11.9m in revenue. For the same period, PolyAI reported a £19.4m loss and maintained a headcount of 159 employees.
This latest capital injection follows several previous funding rounds. The company raised £40.5m in a Series C-plus round in April 2024 and £31.7m in June 2022. It also secured £259.4k in a Series A round in June 2022. More recent smaller allotments include £65.3k in January 2025 and £21.7k in September 2025.
The current £15.1m round (allotted in April and filed in May) continues the company's Series C-plus trajectory. PolyAI's platform allows enterprises to deploy AI agents that handle customer queries without the need for human intervention in routine or complex voice-based tasks.
