AI-driven bioinformatics tools that automate scientific workflows are the focus of Birmingham-based Picknmixai Limited, which has raised an estimated £10k. Founded in July 2025, the company supports drug discovery and health equity analytics for life-sciences research organizations. Its technology addresses the manual complexities of dry-lab procurement and asset advertisement.

The startup offers three specific products: Ecosystem Builder for tool integration, Asset Creator for transforming laboratory outputs into reusable assets, and MatchMaker for collaborator discovery and network building. These solutions are designed for use by pharmaceutical firms, contract research organizations, biobanks, universities, and hospitals focused on precision medicine.

The business currently operates with a team of four employees. Dr James Phillip Cook was appointed as a director in August 2026. LinkedIn suggests he may be involved in advising ultra-high-net-worth families on investment strategies. Documentation for the investment was filed and allotted in September 2026.
