Ozo Innovations secures £3.6m for sustainable sanitization technology

Electrochemical solutions that convert salt and water into a disinfectant branded as eloclear are the focus of Kidlington-based Ozo Innovations Limited, which has secured an estimated £3.6m in its latest funding round. The company develops ozone-based sanitization and cleaning technologies primarily for the food manufacturing industry.

Founded in 2012, the firm also targets the hospitality, pharmaceutical, and medical sectors. Its applications aim to deliver infection control, hygiene, and food security while reducing the consumption of water, energy, and traditional chemicals during food processing.

This investment follows a £1.4m total raised during 2025. Financial records for the year ending 31 December 2024 show the business employed 16 people, though more recent data indicates the headcount has since risen to 17 staff members.

The environmental services company filed documentation for this round in September (following an allotment in July).
