Cambridge pet health startup Okava raises estimated £1m

Improving the health and longevity of domestic cats and dogs is the primary focus of Okava Ltd, which has just secured an estimated £1m in new funding. The Cambridge startup develops veterinary-medicine products and technologies specifically for pet owners who want to extend the lifespan of their companion animals.
The business was incorporated in 2022 and provides information technology services focused on animal health. Financial records for the fiscal year ending 31 January 2025 indicate the company maintained a team of four employees.
This latest capital increase was documented in filings made in September. The share allotment associated with the round took place in June.
