Odyssey Airlines secures £1.9m to launch premium business class services

Odyssey Airlines Ltd plans to be the first and only airline to operate non-stop transatlantic services from London City Airport. Incorporated in 2010, the carrier aims to provide a premium, scheduled all-business class passenger air transport service for time-conscious professionals.
An estimated £1.9m was raised in this latest funding round, which accounts for the total capital raised by the company this year. This capital injection coincides with the notification of Mr Philippe Nicolas Bekhazi as a person with significant control (May 2026), holding between 75% and 100% of the shares and voting rights.
Financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2025 show a £962.3k loss. While those latest accounts listed three employees, current data from LinkedIn suggests the headcount for the London-based company has since reached four.
The business aspires to provide stress-free, convenient travel to major global hubs in North America, the Middle East, and Europe. Documentation for the transaction was filed in July, following an allotment of shares in May.
