Newsprinters Holdings Limited, a joint venture between News Corp UK & Ireland Limited and Daily Mail And General Holdings Limited, has raised £779.9k in a seed funding round. Based in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, the company provides newspaper printing and manufacturing services for its parent organizations and external publishing clients.

The business was incorporated in 2023 to manage the combined printing operations of its two primary shareholders. It operates three print centres located in Broxbourne, Knowsley, and Eurocentral. These facilities use triplewidth presses that produce more than 80,000 copies per hour, feeding into a nationwide logistics network.

This seed round follows an allotment of shares in February, with the corresponding filings completed in March. The company currently employs 120 people and maintains operations 364 days a year to meet the delivery requirements of the national newspaper industry.

Newsprinters Holdings Limited provides a consolidated infrastructure for print, distribution, and consumer services. Its strategic focus involves managing the high-volume manufacturing needs of national titles while offering third-party publishing services through its existing press capacity and distribution channels. The Waltham Cross headquarters oversees the coordination of the three regional print hubs and the associated distribution fleet. The company solves the problem of high-capacity manufacturing and time-sensitive delivery for the publishing sector.
