Mobilise Care Secures £550.5k Seed Funding to Expand Digital Support for Unpaid Carers

London based startup Mobilise Care Ltd has successfully closed a £550.5k seed funding round, achieving a post money valuation of £9.1m. The allotment took place on 6 March 2026, with the official filing recorded on 11 March 2026.

Founded in March 2019, Mobilise Care addresses a critical gap in the UK social care system by supporting the country's unpaid carers. The company provides a digital platform and online community that offers practical tools, peer to peer knowledge sharing, and targeted support.

Rather than operating solely as a consumer application, Mobilise Care partners directly with local authorities and NHS bodies. These partnerships help statutory services identify hidden carers and deliver scalable digital outreach, ensuring that those looking after family members or friends do not have to navigate the complex care system alone.

The company currently operates with a team of 19 employees. While specific revenue and profitability metrics remain undisclosed, the £9.1m valuation indicates strong investor confidence in the platform's public sector partnership model.

This latest £550.5k injection builds upon the company's earlier financial backing. Mobilise Care previously secured early stage seed funding in May 2022, alongside grant support from Innovate UK to develop its virtual support tools. The increased valuation in this current round reflects the company's transition from a rapid response tool to an embedded service within local authority care provisions.

The funding arrives amid a strong period of recovery and growth for the broader UK health and social care technology sector. Industry data from 2025 shows that UK Health Tech companies raised over £1.2bn in equity funding, representing a nearly 60 percent increase compared to the previous year.

The investment landscape has shifted in recent months. Investors and public sector buyers are prioritising platforms that demonstrate tangible outcomes. By aligning its digital community with the strategic goals of NHS bodies and local councils, Mobilise Care is positioned to capitalise on the growing demand for preventative, community based care solutions that alleviate pressure on frontline health services.
