Made-to-measure, reusable half-mask respirators are being developed by Edinburgh-based Mask Logic Ltd following a new investment of £143.1k. The company, which was incorporated in 2021, utilizes 3D scanning and printing technology to provide a custom fit for individual users. This approach is designed to address the issue of uncomfortable and poorly fitting face masks often found in industrial settings.

The business targets Health and Safety and Occupational Health professionals in sectors requiring essential respiratory protection. By providing personally sized solutions for facial wear, the company aims to ensure that employees across various industries have access to proper protection and comfort from their protective equipment.

This latest capital injection follows a total of £270.1k raised during the prior year. Financial accounts for the period ended 28 February 2025 reported a headcount of three employees. However, more recent data from the company profile on LinkedIn indicates the team has grown to eight staff members. Documentation for the current round was filed in June 2026.
