Based in Cardiff, the biotechnology firm manufactures a LAMP-based system providing affordable, easy-to-use point-of-care solutions for near-patient healthcare settings.
Founded in 2020, the business addresses the need for quick clinical decisions by identifying specific bacteria to deliver a lab-accurate result in 35 minutes. The company focuses its research on assay development and urology to assist specialist clinicians.
The latest capital injection brings the total funding raised in 2026 to £546.5k. This follows a smaller total of £120k raised across 2025. Financial records for the year ended 30 April 2025 show the company employed eight people, while more recent data from LinkedIn indicates the workforce has since grown to 10 staff members. Documentation for this specific allotment was filed in June 2026.
