Liminal Finance secures £319k for personal finance app
Published
A mobile application for cross-border payments and DeFi-based savings is the core offering of London-based Liminal Finance Ltd, which has just raised £319.2k in seed capital at an estimated post-money valuation of £3m.
Incorporated in July 2025, the startup targets consumers looking for convenient, technology-driven personal finance tools. The service also enables users to invest in fractional shares of stocks. The business operates within the software development sector, focusing on both business and domestic applications.
Three individuals joined the board in September, alongside the filing and allotment of shares for the round. Faiz Abbas is one such appointee; his professional history is possibly linked to a role as an Equity Capital Markets Analyst at Askari Bank and an M.S. in Financial Risk Management from the Zicklin School of Business. Luke Alexander Stanislawski was also added, who LinkedIn suggests is a corporate finance leader. The final new director was William David Orde, who is possibly a partner at Passion Capital.
