Wynyard based software company Klik Uk (saas) Ltd, operating commercially as Klik SaaS, has successfully closed a £50k pre-seed funding round. The investment values the startup at an estimated £6.1m post-money. The share allotment was completed on 6 March 2026, with the official documentation filed today.

Incorporated in November 2022, Klik SaaS focuses on developing industry specific platforms designed for careers, education, and community engagement. The company provides the underlying software architecture that powers recruitment, skills training, and employee engagement initiatives. Operating from its headquarters in County Durham, the firm currently maintains a lean operation with one employee, focusing its early resources entirely on product development and its upcoming platform release.

The software addresses a growing need for digitised human resources and corporate social responsibility management. According to the company, its platform integrates features relevant to environmental, social, and governance criteria, alongside corporate social responsibility tracking. By offering software as a service, Klik SaaS aims to disrupt traditional approaches to talent acquisition, employee retention, and community outreach.

The pre-seed round brings £50k in fresh capital to the business. While the capital injection is relatively modest, the £6.1m post-money valuation indicates strong early stage confidence in the underlying technology and its recurring revenue potential. Specific investors were not named in the latest regulatory filings. The capital will support the imminent release of the core Klik SaaS platform, which the company states will drive its suite of careers and community engagement tools. As a pre-seed transaction, this represents the first major formalised equity funding event for the business since its launch.

Klik SaaS operates at the intersection of human resources technology, education, and software development. The UK HR tech market continues to show resilience and steady growth, valued at over £1.7 billion in 2025 with an annual growth rate exceeding five percent. British businesses are increasingly seeking digital platforms to manage employee engagement, recruitment, and compliance, creating a receptive market for new software providers.

The funding also highlights ongoing early stage activity in the North East of England, a region currently experiencing a significant influx of technology investment. The area is being positioned as a major digital hub, supported by recent initiatives such as the £1.7m Innovate UK investment partnership with the North East Combined Authority. This regional funding specifically targets digital technology clusters across County Durham, Tyne and Wear, and Northumberland. Against this backdrop of regional tech expansion, Klik SaaS is positioning its platform to capitalise on the growing demand for specialised career and community engagement software.
