Kalvotech Limited secures £70k for biomaterials innovation

Advanced biomaterials developer Kalvotech Limited has secured an estimated £70k in its latest funding round. Based in Southsea, the company focuses on biotech innovation through the production of novel biomaterials and the development of bioprocess modelling. This latest injection of capital values the business at approximately £780.6k.
Founded in 2023, Kalvotech Limited produces materials and processes designed to enhance bioproducts and their underlying manufacturing methods. The company focuses on bioprocess development and modelling to improve efficiency in the biotechnology sector. According to its latest accounts for the year ended 31 January 2026, the firm maintains a team of five employees.
The current funding follows a series of capital raises for the Southsea firm over the last two years. In January 2026, the company secured £100k at a valuation of £710.6k. This followed a raise of £45.3k in October 2025, which valued the business at £276.6k. Earlier that year, in July 2025, Kalvotech Limited raised £100.1k at a valuation of £510.7k. The company also recorded a £1.1m funding round in January 2024.
The new valuation of £780.6k is an increase from the £710.6k figure reached in January. Documentation for this latest round was filed in May, following an allotment of shares that took place in April. The company operates from its headquarters in Southsea, focusing on research and development within the biotech space.
