Hunit secures new investment to scale its legal technology platform

A new financing round of £750k has brought the total capital raised by London-based Hunit Ltd this year to £1.1m. This latest capital injection results in an estimated post-money valuation of £13.3m for the software publishing firm.
Founded in 2020, the firm provides a no-code, blockchain-enabled system that transforms legal and regulatory agreements into automated, self-performing Agentic Contracts. These digital documents track obligations and generate real-time evidence of compliance, addressing the lack of operational execution typically found in post-signature files.
The company targets maritime shipping organisations, municipal entities, and inspection bodies, with active deployments including BIMCO-standard agreements and electrical safety inspections in Norway under NEK 405. Development of the technology involved collaboration with LawtechUK, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), and the UK Ministry of Justice.
Prior funding includes £300k from 2025. While accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 listed two employees, recent data from LinkedIn indicates the workforce has grown to 12 staff members. The business spent two years in residence at the Allen & Overy tech incubator, A&O Fuse (the allotment for this transaction occurred in August).
