Hiverge raises Series A for algorithmic research platform

The automated generation of high-performance optimization and quantum algorithms is the focus of Hiverge Ltd, which has just secured an estimated £14.5m in Series A funding. Based in Cambridge, the company targets enterprise clients seeking to improve complex operations such as energy-grid management, pharmaceutical innovation, and supply-chain logistics.

Founded in 2024, the startup was established by former scientists from Google DeepMind and the local university who pioneered the area of AI-driven discovery agents. These tools are designed to provide businesses with superhuman processing capabilities to streamline internal workflows. This latest capital injection follows a £4m funding total recorded in 2025.

While accounts for that fiscal year listed just two employees, current LinkedIn data indicates the workforce has since grown to 12 staff members. The company operates within the software industry and the natural sciences and engineering development field. Documentation for the round was filed in September, following an allotment of shares in July.
