Audio-visual technology provider Hive Media Control Ltd has secured an estimated £725k in its latest funding round, reaching a post-money valuation of £15.7m. The Horsham-based company develops media control systems and hardware video media players tailored for professional audio-visual environments.

The business was incorporated in 2017 and launched its core product range to the public in March 2022. Its hardware and software solutions are utilized by AV integrators, architects, event producers, and show designers. These products facilitate media playback for brand activations, exhibitions, live shows, and theme parks. The company leadership team possesses 60 years of collective experience in the entertainment technology sector.

This May 2026 funding follows several previous rounds completed over the last 28 months. In January 2025, the company raised £200k at an £8.2m valuation. This followed an £800k round in September 2024 at an £8m valuation and a £625.1k round in January 2024 at a £2.5m valuation. The current valuation of £15.7m is nearly double the figure recorded in early 2025.

According to accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, the company employed six people. Current figures from LinkedIn suggest the workforce has since expanded to 12 employees. The company maintains its headquarters in Horsham and markets its products based on functionality and affordability within the media playback market.

The documentation for this share allotment was filed in May 2026. Hive Media Control Ltd continues to focus on the development of specialized hardware and software for the entertainment and commercial display industries.
