Reading-based Heliotropic Heat Systems secures £25k for fanless heat pump technology
Published
Roof-mounted fanless heat pump manufacturer Heliotropic Heat Systems Limited has secured £25k in new funding. The investment gives the Reading-based company an estimated post-money valuation of £1.8m.
Founded in December 2025, the business focuses on the manufacture of quiet and space-efficient heating solutions. Its technology is designed for the UK net-zero new build housing market, where traditional heat pump installations can be limited by noise constraints and a lack of ground-level space. By moving the units to the roof and removing the fan component, the company aims to provide a more versatile alternative for developers.
This funding round follows a share allotment that took place in April, with formal documentation filed in May. The £25k raise provides early-stage capital for the business as it begins its operations in the South East.
Financial data for the company is currently limited. As a recently incorporated entity, Heliotropic Heat Systems Limited has not yet published revenue or profit and loss figures. The company's first set of accounts is expected to cover the period ending 31 March 2027.
The company operates within the sector for manufacturing pumps and compressors. Its current focus remains on scaling its specialized hardware to meet the requirements of modern sustainable residential construction.
