Great Yellow secures £894.5k to scale nature recovery platform
Published
An estimated £894.5k has been raised by Great Yellow Ltd to expand its platform for regenerative land-use and landscape-scale environmental restoration. Based in London, the company operates a marketplace that connects land managers and nature recovery projects with financial institutions and corporate outcome buyers seeking to address climate and biodiversity crises.
Founded in 2023, the startup aims to make nature-based projects investable and scalable by providing structured capital investment and project management services. This latest injection brings the total capital raised in 2026 to £4.9m, following a total of £1.2m raised in 2025.
Accounts for the year ending 31 December 2025 recorded 20 employees, though more recent data from LinkedIn indicates the workforce has grown to 49 staff members. The firm takes its name from the Great Yellow bumblebee, a species now found only in remote parts of the UK, which serves as a symbol for the critical role pollinators play in ecosystem health.
Documentation for this specific allotment was filed in September 2026.
