Non-bank businesses seeking to launch white-label accounts and payment services use Gemba Finance Ltd, which has secured an estimated £200k in new funding. The London-based company operates an FCA-regulated embedded-banking platform providing cards and foreign-exchange services to SMEs and fintechs requiring rapid banking-as-a-service solutions.
Incorporated in 2017, the software development firm reported a £1.3m loss for the financial year ending 31 December 2024. Financial statements for that period show the business generated revenue of £305.9k and maintained a headcount of 12 employees.
This latest investment brings the total capital raised by the company in 2026 to £1m. This follows a larger funding total in 2025, when the business secured £2.1m. Formal documentation for the allotment was filed in September 2026, with the shares issued during the same month.
